below is a link to a site you can sign up to and use it for email marketing..free account or pay for a memebership

    http://www.affiliatefunnel.com/safelists.php?rid=9

    questions
    1. Any body a member??
    2. Anybody use any other service like this?
    3. How does services like this work?

There are other links under it that take you to other services. I just want to know if its worth signing up and giving them my email address only to get spammed. Anybody have anything to say about these websites and services?
I will eventually sign up and prob come back and post about it if no one has never used these services or just flat out states they suck. But please any one let me know...dont see nothing around here about viral marketing..unless I passed it....if I did..im sorry..i blame it on the legal bud....
please update me....the pitchs on each site are so attractive but I feel its a waste of time....
    Is it???

I never had good experience joining those kind of sites. If you do, you will just build bunch of freebie-seekers and not even check your offers. It's still a good idea to build your list by yourself doing article marketing, blog commenting, guest blogging, forum posting, social bookmarking, videos, etc.. I'd rather have 500 responsive, red-hot buyers than 5,000 non-responsive freebie-seekers.

It depends.... The usage of e-mail marketing depends on the peculiarities of your target audience - if it can be reched with the help of e-mails - then why not?

Yea I do alllllllllllll this stuff....like who doesnt....just came accross viral marketing and that site caught my attention..i have about 1,ooo emails and counting...and want to use a service to store and send automated emails to my subscribers.
I use godaddy email account now...did not use it yet..but just uploading my emails...
and feedburner you can view your email subscribers emails and use the feedburner system to send emails and update your subscrbiers

but yes..using these services might get you a few traffic hits that are not targeted..depending on the type of service you use ( i read some of those sites and if you sign up as a free member you get no targeted emails..and can only send 10 emails a week..so it is limited) and might... i mean might get you a sale here or there.
I would suggest using a dummy email...thats what ima do..sign up using a dummy email... some of the info on the sites state they will give you a list of 250 emails after you sign up... Like i said it caught my attention

i mean the only thing you can loose is your email space after signing up with ten of these accounts and getting bombarded with spam emails!!!! so ima go with making a dummy email..and trying 2 or 3 sites out....

Viral Marketing works amazingly well, and can be used with more than just email - social networks, and SMS. However, the company I work for uses Viral Marketing in a different way than what is traditional. I can tell you that it does work, and it works incredibly well.

Traditional email/direct mail campaign - 1-3% response rate

Using our software we have had email and direct mail campaigns with - 8-500% response rates

So quite simply yes it works.
