Vioxx Sites?

    Are Vioxx sites allowed in the coop network?

    I submitted one about a month ago and it was disapproved.

    In the last few days, I've seen two different vioxx sites being advertised on my sites that are in the coop network.

    I'm not sure I understand the guidelienes here.

    I figured the "no pharmaceutical ads" was against online pharmacies and their profit sharing, etc.

    Vioxx is more like asbestos or something where people are chasing the lawyer ad dollars. Vioxx sites have nothing to do with buying or selling drugs as far as I've seen.

    Obviously Shawn and/or overall member wishes should be able to discard any type of ad content.

    I just figured these guidelines were mirroring the Google philosophy that bans online gambling, drugs, etc., but allows the lawyer ads.

    Fraud/exploitation surrounding Vioxx is no different than that surrounding asbestos, smoking, or anything else that becomes a big personal injury legal battle.
