Violation or Not ?

    I searched the Google Adsense TOS and found nothing,
    maybe one of you wisenheimers can shed some light
    on this issue: I have found a product which I can now
    sell (licensed), but it's sold by a big company at about the
    same price i get it at. my idea is this; sell the item $10
    below that price and have adsense on the site, all the
    while having a disclaimer that says

    "We are able to offer these prices at a lost to US, because
    we hope to make up for the lost profits by placing ads on our site    "

    Violation? or Not?

    id say its in the grey area. It is not asking for clicks, but it is bringing attention to them.

    You are drawing attention to the ads which is a violation of the TOS. Optimize the ad placement in the page and let business take its course.
