If you use Twitter and blog, Vikinghammer is super cool add-on (not mine). What is does is Tweet every time someone makes a comment on one of your posts. It also tweets when you make a new post. Tweeting every time someone makes a comment on your blog improves visibility for that post, and gives a reader another reason to actually make a comment on your site. Now they know their comments might actually be seen. You can get the download via WordPress plugin directory. I have more info about it as well on my post.
