    Hi

I am a professional graphic designer ... i had a samsung monitor earlier which was fine with me except it's small size (14") ... recently i upgraded my pc and got 17" Viewsonic E72f+ monitor

( monitor's manual setting : Contarst - full, Brightness - Nil, I cant increase brightness of the monitor as the black col K100 looks like K 80/ K70) ...

the problem is ... when i work on an image in photoshp cs2 .. the image looks faded ... when i import the same image in corel draw 11 .. it looks like burnt ...

i cant judge finally how the image will print on paper when i'll give the aw to my client ...

can anyone help me in this problem and guide me pls

    regards

You wont be able to get true black because LCD's cant get true black.

Do you have a good video card? Personally, I had to upgrade my video card to one with better color controls. After messing around with it for a while, I got it pretty much correct. The video card made a huge difference for me.
