Youtube videos. Without political debate. No more do you have to read about Obama's new healthcare plan while watching Lebron's half court shots (or the comments that question its authenticity for that matter). Bye 'Recommended Videos'. No, Youtube, that laughing baby has nothing to do with this 5 year old shredding on a guitar. Links that stick. You wanted to show your friend a video of Ronaldo's amazing goal but just so happened to forget that 11-character Youtube ID. Next time, use your personalized URL. Yeah, you need it. Ok, so this all sounds good (or not), but what does it actually do? For one, if you have ever wanted to show a video to family (especially the elderly), you've probably worried about some.. 'inappropriate' video thumbnails being shown. We got your back.
that's pretty neat. I like the 'live' look at what others are viewing. Now, the service may be neat but the site itself is incredibly boring.
Yeah, I was considering a more fancy design with colors like my other sites, but if it has colors, text, etc.; it would be like viewing the video on YouTube. So I stuck with a monotone, simple design.
Looks crowded, I had to spend 3 sec to find out what your site is all about, you should use h2 for "Pure youtube video viewing" and h3,h4 for everyting else.. also leave more space between sections.
...I mean more for the homepage. The "Pure video viewing" pages should be blank as that's what the service is.
The idea is pretty solid, but you should definitely spice up the page. I know it's going to be blank once you input the video you want to watch, but maybe you're better off if you show that to people instead of making it the entire site.
Hmm.. I see what you mean there. I'll design it later on then - for now, less loads quicker so I'll stick with it. Any specific suggestions as to the site in general or design?
Live page has been optimized and recoded - should be faster than it was before now. Should I add the time and date that each video was watched on the page? E.g. 2 minutes ago, 4 days ago, etc.
"Video doesn't exist. Well this stinks. The video you entered apparently isn't a video, go figures. Try another video."
Thanks, the live page has also been slightly revamped. ViewPure now offers Portuguese, Chinese, French, Italian, and Spanish in addition to English.
