Does viewing your own site effect your earnings?

When editing and updating your site, does increasing impressions lower your CTR?

Disabling browser Javascript would enable me to view my site without increasing impressions?

Use Firefox with adblock and configure it to not show your ads. I never see the ads on my site because of it. Also this way you can't accidentially click the ads because they are not there.

So does having more inpressions vrs. clicks bring your revenue down?

    For instance...

If I had 2000 impressions with 20 clicks, I would make less than if I had 10,000 impressions with 20 clicks?

Not at all. CTR just shows you your click-thru rate for information only.

that reminds me to ask this - do my earnings change during the day? i.e. at 2:00 in the morning, I get a click. So I have 25 impressions, 1 click = .20
but by 4:00 in the afternoon, I have 1,000 impression, 1 click. Would I still earn .20, or would that change because my CTR is much lower?

The pay per click amounts vary and arent solid. For example at 10pm a click on one ad may be worst .20 cents but by 10am it could be changed into .10 cents. CTR doesnt effect anything unless probably if a CPM champagin is used on your website which isnt what you are talking about.

if i understand what you mean ... no the .20 you earned wont change they will remain there as 20 cents because you already earned..... and if you mean a new click well it depends on what the advertisers bid is... if they click the same ad then it will be the same thing.. CTR is just statistics for you so you know the ratio of people clicking.
