View web pages on mac in IE

Since MS IE explorer for mac is now out dated and not supported any more can anyone suggest how I can view my site that displays as if it were on IE?

The reason I ask is that I use (exclusively) a mac at home and when I update my site (www.collectablefish.com) I cannot see how the site renders in IE. I have to wait until I go to my 'day job' and look at it at work on the pc.

This is not really convenient, any ideas plse?

    thanks.

don't personally use a mac, but if there's anything similar to vmware for a mac, that'd allow you to do what you're describing. I know it's available for both windows and linux.

essentially it allows you to run another operating system inside your current one.

try this page on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_virtual_machines

Thanks for the link to wiki though not quite what I'm after.
You can get emulation software and indeed the latest macs can run windows however both costs cash so not really an option.

was wondering if there's a IE pseudo page viewer.

    cheers

there are inherant downsides with "simulators." they try to rewrite the code to predict how IE (or any other app) would handle things.

the only real ways to be 100% certain are to run things via an emulator (which executes the exact code-- the only downside being perhaps speed).

if you look hard enough I'm sure you can find some sort of virtual machine application that's free for mac. or get a friend to install realvnc/etc on a windows machine they have online but rarely use. ;-)
