Okay, i just downloaded IE8. I'm a loyal firefox user because of web standards CSS compliances but IE8 is significantly faster on my computer (and i guess it has CSS improvements, correct me if im wrong) so i want to use it. But...how the heck do you view selection source on a page? In firefox i'm used to just highlighting an area of a web page, right clicking, and viewing the selection source from there. Is "view selection source" an option? If not is there a plugin to do so?
It's in one of the jumble of drop downs on the right side. You'll have to dig for it. The UI is as bad as the rest of IE8. Yes, CSS2.1 support is very good in IE8 but it's still 11 years behind all other browsers and the worst browser on the planet.
yeah, i'm starting to realize why i prefer firefox. i forgot that in IE you can't right click on an area and view background image either....sucks because its IE8 is definitely running faster on my pc than firefox...which happens to be a good thing on a 6 year old pc.
