Videos w/Links

Will creating videos that are related to my websites niche, help for building links when SEOing a website?

Like upload them to YouTube and add a link in the description.

 

I believe it will. Especially if you show your url at the bottom of the video.

 

youtube is nofollow so wont help on google but it will still count as backlinks for other search engines

Exactly. The links are nofollow, however, with the right tags, you will receive traffic to your site.

 

So it's increases Direct Traffic, and will not effect SERP's in Google. Thanks for the answers guys.

 

I use Youtube mostly for referral traffic - seems to work for me.

Is it okay to upload the same video to different websites that are like YouTube? If so, can someone name the top five or ten for me please?

 

youtube is good place to get onway links but they are not for seo but you can find traffic and populrity of your site

 

there are tons of video sites with dofollow links. you can even get this automated and upload your video to 10s of sites and get backlinks as well as natural traffic.

 

some can be found @ google lists search them

 

What sites? like Break, AOL, Metacafe, Imeem, Dailymotion?
