hi... nice forum, most of the questions i had were answered through search.. hehe... i have another one though this is not an acute problem, i'm just trying to understand correctly... the TOS say... i run a website dedicated to a band, and i have several videos and mp3s in the download page - nothing that has been released officially.. just bootleg audio/video. for more than 4 years there never seemed to be any problems with that. currently, i have google ads on my website, but they are not on any page that contains mp3 and video links. is that ok or does even that violate the TOS? also, can i have a flash intro with 20 seconds of an official song playing along? (nothing to download) i know you can help me
Are the links within your own site or to another site? I think this part of the TOS is mainly there to avoid Warez sites and such. I suppose you did the right thing!
wow that was quick.. thanks for your answer! the links are within my own site... but like i said, no ads on pages where there are direct links to mp3s/videos.. and what about the flash intro? i'd show my site if it would help to interpret it correctly, but i'm playing by the rules - no links here for me yet
