videos how can I grab to create a dvd

I am trying to grab some videos from certain sites, so I can create my own personal dvd for me to watch whenever I want, but I can not grab it with video download firefox extension - is there another way to grab these videos and convert them to avi or mpeg for me to brun on a dvd?

 

do Divx player/converter helps??

 

no unfortunately - they are saved as .flv and I cant find a good program to convert

 

im not very familiar bout this video kinda thing...c'mon guys...give ianternet a hand here..

if it's flash I think they make a 'flash grab' program but I am not familar with it.

 

yea firefox extensions has this video downloader but its flash - all the youtube vids are all converted to flash - that is why when its grab you need flv player to play the saved videos - tryin to find a converter for it
