Just curious i was visiting a site that had funny , sex , and amateur videos on there but the thing is they are linked from another site. So they dont actually own them. They just basically took photos and videos from other sites and selling memberships to their own site. I visited some of the other sites and it seems like all the videos and pictures they are using is from free sites but isn't that still illegal?
Without the copyright owners consent (which may not even be the site that originally posted it) then yes it is a breach of copyright - the web is full of this though, there are many losers but I also personally know a fair number of people that make good money out of suing people that have breached their copyright and the money is more than they would have got for buying the rights to the images.
