Videos converting

Hi Guys,

I have a video in .avi what is the best software or way i can convert the video to a smaller size 400 x 300 pixels into either .mov or remain as .avi without affecting its quality?

Hi was wondering if mpeg4 is a standard compression for video?
Divx is not rite? so is xdiv?

 

mpeg4 is "just a name" for dvix, xdiv, mp.4,....
it's not a real existing codec

 

Agree with this, does more than convert, you can extract just the audio, or just the video as well as save video to a series of images.

It can be complicated to use but is the best free option available.

 

I do not think its complicated (if you know what yout outputresult must be), but you have many, many options too choose from.

 

Total video converter for sure, its simple to use. So I guess its the best way and it has many ways to convert it to whatever size you want so i think its good

 

any-video-convertor is what i would suggest.
