Hello everyone. Sorry, I don't know if sort of thing is allow here, but I have searched spanned the net (google) looking for a hint of how to find a sponsor to help my team start our gaming company. I myself have been writing game ideas since I was 12, ever since i was introduced to the Playstation, the childish sort of stories that make parents chuckle, but as time went on, I have sculpted and crafted those ideas into something great. Anyone who knows me personally, knows of my ideas and wants to play the games they will hopefully become. For the last few years I have been working with a friend of mine who started going to school for gaming and met a group of people there who want to stay together after school. They also welcomed me with open arms and now we are working on our ideas as often as we can, which currently isn't much due to work scheduals. That is the big problem. Thursday night I got together with my friend and another guy from the group and we were going to work on the map for the main game idea, but after an hour went off on a tangent with one of the races that had minimal importance at the time, but were a nifty addition, and ended up progressing them into one of our other ideas that plays one of the most important roles of the entire series of ideas/games. And so the problem is, currently we are lucky to get together once every 2 weeks, between which we pass ideas back and forth over our forum, but are seeking ways to work together constantly. This currently is impossible since we all have jobs that have conflicting scheduals with one another. Low paying jobs at that. I myself have been looking for a job for the past several months, ending with a stocking possition at Walmart. My days off are in the middle of the week (usual wednesday and tuesday or thursday) during which everyone else is working, or in my friends case he has church band practice and leadership meetings those days. We are all also trying to find a location to come together and find time, such as the town in which I am looking for a house in which is in the middle area of all our homes, but currently we have been meeting either half an hour north at the technical collage they are attending, or at my friends house an hour south. So to put it bluntly, we need a sponsor, one that can provide us with some form of income so that we may work full time on our ideas. We have most of the equipment and programs needed. We also have most of the positions needed filled, minus lead programmer because we had a "problem" where he was being dishonest and has cut us off, but we have other sources we could go to once we have income. Our ideas are phenominal and we are serious about our work. As I said, i have looked all over google and have come up empty handed on even finding a way to find a sponsor, and we are all extremely eager to start working on this full time now.
