I'm trying to sell a streaming website video software, and there seems to be no demand. Is it better to just use youtube or google, or are there any pluses when it comes to having your own video on your own site? Any suggestions how to sell said software? Thanks. Bryan
I've used both my own videos hosted on my servers and Youtube and Google to put videos on a site. There's pluses and minuses to each. For me, the benefit of having videos hosted on my own server is I can specify the quality and I have complete control over the video, including the ability to redirect users to a new page when the video completes as well as people being taken to the link I specify when they click on the video instead of Youtube or Google video. There's definitely demand for this type of product, as I've purchased them before. Gary Ruplinger
