    Hey everyone,

I've been playing around with my new screen capture software & created my first video tutorial called....

How to Stop Thieves from Stealing Your Affiliate Commissions - A guide on Maximizing Your Sales with Link Cloaking Techniques.

The video tutorial is approx 20 minutes long, and is hosted on Google Video. I think a lot of affiliates spend too much time on choosing the perfect product when they should be optimizing their existing campaigns.

    In this video, you'll learn:
    • The 2 Biggest Ways Affiliates Lose Commissions
    • How to Boost Sales & Income Overnight
    • How to Create Trackable Affiliate Links in under 20 seconds
    • Which Tool Successful Internet Marketers Use to Mask Their Affiliate Links

I hope everyone enjoys the video, and please PM me if you have any specific questions. I'm always looking for excuses to create more videos. It's prettty damn exciting to screw around with Windows Movie Maker all day :D

    Later,

    Tarik

Did you use camtasia? or something else? This may be an issue with your video card or your computer... I can't make out anything on your screencast. It looks like a bmp picture file that has been zoomed in 5 or 6 times creating a very pixelated image. If you fix this then your video will be fine.

I personally use camtasia and it works very well. I also have a pretty decent video card, so that may be why. What screen resolution did you render that in? 1024 x 768?

Also what you are doing with the notepad program could be easily done with a powerpoint screencast in camtasia.

    UPDATE:

Ok. Figured out what was causing the pixelated image. Google Video defaults to "fit to screen". I have a 21" monitor so that cause the tiny size you created the video in to be very pixelated. You need to do the video in a larger size.

Tell google video to do original size or double size and you should be able to read it.

Nice video. The size was too small though. Couldn't see much.

I made the video using CamstudioPro, but I'm going to upgrade to Camtasia next month.

When the video file was larger, I have difficulties uploading the .wmv to Google Video.

That was my first video ever. My future videos are sure to be much better.

It must be better if I can see it clearly. Why don't you upload it to youtube? Have a try first. :)

That is good to know, because that program isn't that good. Most of the videos I see that aren't on youtube are made with camtasia. It has a lot of awesome features. You can do voice recordings and have 10 or so different instances of a recording and save those instances as one mp3. (hope that made sense)

Second point is to definitely not upload as a WMV file or AVI or anything like that. You need to upload as a FLV file. A 10 Meg video file that is in WMV/AVI will only be about 2 Meg as a FLV file.

If you have existing WMV files you can convert those into FLV files with Camtasia.
