Hi everybody, me and my team want to open an online TV. I am intersting where to find a good video server, I know nothing about it, I am not looking to buy one but looking to rent from a company with monthly payment.

Also I would like to know how can I trun the TV into paid TV. That mean users pay by monthly payment and get PIN code to use to watch our TV.

    You reply is apricate. thanks.

This sounds like you haven't done any research at all.

In order to find out which server and how much you're going to pay first you have to develop the system you'll use to serve the content. There's a big difference between serving RealMedia or streaming Quicktime or streaming WMV files.

Plus if you're going to charge, you're going to need to use Digital Rights Management or some other similar licensing system.

I recommend you and your programmers get yourselves a server to work on at your home/office and create your program/system on it. Once you get your system working, only them will you know what kind of server you'll need and only then can you even start looking for a hosting provider.
