I'm seriously considering getting one of these video spokes models for my salesletter. As a consumer, I hate them. I find them intrusive and annoying. But I think it's important to realize that I am not my customer, my customers are far different from me. My thinking is that they must improve conversions or so many of the top Clickbank products wouldn't be using them. I'm thinking of using a very short one 15 seconds / 50 words. Not only because it's cheaper but I think less is probably more when it comes to something like this, people have short attention spans. Anyway - I'm looking for some feedback - Is this a good idea? I'm leaning towards LifeFaceOnWeb.com as that seems to be the choice of the top CB products. It's $259 for a 15 second clip. Would you suggest using them or trying another service (if so, which?)
Personally I like them . The cheapest way would be to do it all by yourself - but this will involve time and preparations - you can save good money but who knows if you can get the same results - good luck! I think these models can improve sales but are too expensive for me at the moment. btw this one is cheaper http://myvideospokesmodel.com/pricing.html
I don't mind spending the money if it works. It's an investment. I wouldn't want to do it myself ... I definitely think it would pay to have someone more photogenic like one of the video models. Thanks for the advice bluemouse - I'll look into that other option as well.
I checked out that site you linked to bluemouse - interesting as I can have four 30 second clips made for almost as cheap as one 15 second clip. having four clips made might a great thing as far as being able to try out different scripts to see which one converts best. Possibly I could even create one clip designed to be used on an affiliate's review page? ... I guess that would look too connected though - not 3rd party enough. hmmmmmmm thinkin'.
Best of luck, let us hear your feedback about the experience and your change in conversions. I would use it, but not on any product with a gravity less than 18.
I'm talking about for my product as a publisher - not as an affiliate. And yes my gravity is currently less than 18 (5.04 at the moment) but I also made my first sale less than a month ago.
