Video sitemaps effective or not worth the trouble?

    Currently I submit regular XML sitemaps for all my clients. One client has a large number of videos. The site is indexed on a very regular basis and appears to be in pretty good shape.

    Would there be much of a tangible benefit to putting together a video sitemap? (Tangible = make the case the client). How about a sitemap only including the most popular videos?

    Any input greatly appreciated.
