www.vdoogle.com is a new search engine built with google co-op. Vdoogle searches the most popular video sharing websites. This includes youtube, metacafe, google videos, ifilm, and many more.
I thought the only way you could get away with now having ads on the results page was by being a 'Not-for-profit' site...
Non profit site? What sites dont make money? You can now use a search video option i believe and integrate it into your own site by youtube and many other video sites, vdoogle.com is probably just one of them.
am not understanding 1 thing that is why google cor. established new search engine 4 just video sharing websites"????????????
Thanks for the link to Vdoogle.com. It's nice to have a site to do a massive search for videos all in one place, especially if you're a video fan like me.
the name looks very similar than Google, maybe you could have trademark problems with Google My 2 cents.
FYI....if you want to stop it from loading the results twice (refreshing), remove the ! from your submit button. (it's a known bug) Ed
blinkx.com is a big player in the video search field - cool site - their 'wall it' feature is nice for webmasters...
Nice site, i never see that before, i have a script of video sharing maybe i try create some later...
This site is build on the Google CSE offered for free. I have build several. All you do is register a domain, create a cse at Google, add some sites and make a page on your domain with a graphic and the supplied javascript, make a couple settings in the javascript and there is your search engine. Its only returns what is in Google database... As far as the page refresh goes, its not a bug. the code writes a variable to the hash string of the url after a hundredth of a second to control the iframe height. mainly to overcome a limitation of the netscape browser. search for 'looking backwards' and the first result is youtube.com/watch?v=EKIx4_0KsvA you can see how fast our dragster is... I'm the one holding the camera...
