Video RSS Feed - Updating Headers

    New here, hoping someone can help me out. I have two files: Video01.mp4 and Video02.mp4, that are updated throughout the day via FTP. When this change happens, I need to update the headers of Video.xml, so that my video player software does not play cached versions of these videos.

    What is the best way to update the headers? Should I be using PHP/MySQL? Flash? Or does anyone know of any scripts (or even Wordpress plugins) that will update the XML when the videos are updated?
