Three nice long videos, a good way to kill a Saturday afternoon. Ronald Reagan - A Time for Choosing http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1777069922535499977&hl=en Fantastic speech, as applicable today as it was when it was spoken. In support of true conservative Republican Barry Goldwater. ***** Dan Rather Reports - The Constitution in Question http://hd.net/danratherconst.html Very interesting debate on the Constitution and post 9/11 America. ***** Ron Paul @ GoogleTalks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCM_wQy4YVg
I check with Yahoo Answers to see if Ron Paul has a realistic chance of winning This answer was poignant:
Ron Paul hasn't got a hope in hell, the Americans will have to put up with yet another scumbag from the Bush or Clinton family until at least 2016. No wonder the USA is going downhill rapidly with two utterly corrupt familys taking turns at ruining it.
Last I checked, some Vegas bookmakers had Paul as the only Republican candidate who could beat the Democrats, and at 8:1 odds to be the President. I trust the people who handicap for a living over the handicapped folks on Yahoo Answers.
This is a great video of RP Supporters from the Philly MeetUp Group mass producing banners in their workshop for the grassroots campaign. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuTksmA2MaI It's wonderful to see RP inspiring so many people to get involved in the electoral process. I don't think there are many other candidates who touch people and draw their interest this way.
