If your streaming(showing whats on your webcam to a webpage), I like win//dows media encoder. It totally free and easy to use. You can control the streaming for different internet speeds and set up your own commericals. You can also use it to stream to mobile devices and also can also use it to encode ready made videos for mobile.

There's a lot of freebies out there, but the one I mentioned doesn't put any kind of logo/branding on the video while its being streamed.

Are you trying to stream videos you record from your webcam?

...or videos saved on your computer (like avi, mpeg files)?

Not sure about the first way, but for the other, you can try converting it first to a flash format (find software that do avi/mpeg/etc -> swf). These software have their own embedded controls and it optimizes the video so it loads really fast.

Hi There Thanks for the replies, what I am trying to do is record a video of say me promoting a product and then place it on my website and forget it. I am not sure if this is streaming video or not. I think what MKDA is saying is what i'm trying to do "videos saved on your computer" and then put them on the website.

Just capture your video using any software (camstasia, etc.) and then upload it to YouTube. Use the YouTube embed to place the video on your website. That's the easiest/cheapest way to do it and keep it reliable.
