Video not approved for revenue sharing - Is it because of the edit feature

    Today I purchased a tablet and made an unboxing video review of the same.
    I uploaded the video on YouTube and using the edit feature online I added a background music to it.

    After sometime I got a mail saying that the video is not approved for revenue sharing. I want to know is it because of the audio I added in the background. Because the video itself has nothing copied.

    I am hoping to get lots of views on the video and its bad to be not approved for revenue sharing.

    if you use anything with a copyright including music you will not be approved

    I have reverted back to the original video now, so there is no music...
    But I don't see the monetize button in my Video list... :(
