Make sure keyword are in your tittle and description, then market your videos, share them on twitter, facebook, digg, just submit to different social network sites.

You can use TWIENDS to get artificial views for your videos. This will push up your videos in terms of popularity and gain real views later on.

Find some of other video related with your video theme & make video comments.

Marketing communications is focused on the product/service as opposed to corporate communications where the focus of communications work is the company/enterprise itself. Marketing communications is primarily concerned with demand generation, product/service positioning while corporate communications deal with issue management, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, etc.

I have a surprise for you; for the past 12 months, you may treat your Youtube videos in the same manner that you treat your Website pages as regards to Marketing. Youtube videos respond to backlinks in an awsome way; it was expected that Google will apply their algorithm on Youtube videos. And it takes far less to rank than an ordinary listing, because of the sheer power of the site. It took me two months to rank my video to No 8 for an incredibly difficult keyword, and there I was, sitting in the middle of the search results page, getting 100 views a day. Cool. And when you backlink, your video page does not 'dance' either.

I agree with Amy, BUT would like to add some more info. some people assume that since Google owns Youtube so videos put up there should come on Goole 1st page BUT, its a NO NO.. because Google classifies Youtube videos a seperate entities or you can say websites and it ranks them the same way as it would rank a website..
So, use the same strategies as you would use for your website to rank top but being a part of Google, Youtube does get a bit of benefit..

There are tons of free information about ranking high in YT internal search engine algorythm, but with good ol' Google couple of dozens or hundreds backlinks will help you rank in top 3 and get substantial amount of views.

I would also recommend going as massive with YouTube as possible - I know some people adding 10-15 short and simple videos a day and making an absolute KILLING money with it as each of those videos gets 5-20 views per month but when it all sums up together that's a lot of traffic and a lot's of potential to make a good buck on it ;). you gotta be careful, but it's certainly doable.

I have had great success by simply back linking my videos from various web 2.0 sites (Squidoo, hubpages, etc...)
