Video Marketing

Does anyone have experience on video marketing? Please share your knowledge as I am new to this.

 

I have used it to promote my product.
It is important not just to take the video you made and put it in a video directory and just sit back and wait for it to bring you loads of prospects.
earch for tools that can tell you how much of your video was played before the visitor closed it, how many prospects actually decided to pay your site a visit after watching your video add on a different website, how many of these visits converted into sales, and so on.

 

Are you producing video for the purpose of marketing something else or are you already producing video and looking for ancillary benefit?

yeah, I promote vidoe's on youtube with a watermark so people go visit my/other sites.. very handy and usefull. Youtube is not that hard to dominate.

 

I didn't promote any products, I want to know about video marketing. Is video marketing helpful for product promotion only or helpful for website promotion also.

 

Try to deliver content that works for the audience, IMo, the video should carry viral elements and message that has to be exceptional.

 

Yea I use it to promote my website. My product line is in education products so I host my video lectures on youtube. Then at the beginning and end of the video I post a link to my main website. If someone is taking a class or preparing for an exam on that subject they'll find one of my many video lectures on youtube. I provide high quality, well researched lectures so if they like what they see, they can find the rest of my lectures on my main website with tons of other content for them to use. I am also working on a subscription feature of the site which allows users to get the entire course and access all of the content. I only give like 1/3rd of the content on the site for free, as a free sample for users.

The bottom line to your success is to not just post blatant marketing. You have to give the audience a decent product. People are so used to finding marketing message on youtube that these days they just pass on it.

Place it on Youtube and other social sites.
