Video marketing has become one of the most talked about ways to drive traffic to websites, and it is no surprise. Once YouTube had grown to the incredible size it is today, it was inevitable that marketers everywhere would try to harness its immense power for themselves. Some have succeeded in spectacular style, while a great many who went in half heartedly thinking it would be easy have not made a single penny. YouTube as a whole may have colossal page views, but that does not mean that any one individual video is going to get any page views at all. There are right ways and wrong ways of marketing with video, and the biggest successes come with videos which go viral. Creating a video is something which can be undertaken with no expense. Using the Open Office Impress slide program and Camstudio screen capture, you can create free informational videos. You can obviously achieve a far better result if you have professional equipment, and you can also inject yourself into the video to make yourself more real to potential customers. With video, unlike with articles, the more outrageous, controversial, and even silly a video is, the more likely it is to get repeated viewings and go viral. The successful videos are the ones which stand out. If you have built up an advertising budget, it is even possible to get into video marketing without ever needing to create a video. If there is a video which is getting a large number of views, you can try negotiating with the owner to have them put your link at the start of the description. In a lot of niche markets, people are amazed to find that their video has commercial vale, and delighted to be paid for something which was a hobby to them anyway. You can also negotiate to buy the video outright if you think you can gain enough commercial value from it. It is never easy to predict which video will become a great success, so if you can buy a ready made success you are taking the uncertainty out of video marketing.
Youtube and Camtasia make a great couple Video is definitely the future and the future is here... It's getting easier and easier to help people and spread your story.. I just made this video not 10 minutes ago and put it on Youtube....what a coincidence... ways to get traffic to your website for free
Yep, Camtasia is excellent. It's great for taking an existing video and adding text or other additions using the "callouts" feature.
camtasia is good but it depends on the route that you are taking. I prefer to go with mass videos - 2-5 per account on fresh IPs - and watermark a ton a day. There is software out there that mass downloads and watermarks, this is IMO the better way to scale up your earnings. Although one high quality video can bring in sales 500 decent videos created quickly reaches a wider audience and lets you target a different long tail keyword for each video and have your video rank well on Google for these.
Camtasia and Youtube are what Im using for Video Marketing. Is really easy to use by only problem is uploading to Youtube will take sometime. Thanks
Video (using YouTube) is really a good way to promote your website. =) We have been tested that already.
Yes, many marketers have used YouTube to gain unique traffics each day and also YouTube is the best because they have many members every day.
Posting on other video hosting/social networking sites like youtube also help your seo as many of them have great tag systems.
I've used Youtube to get dozens of top ten positions in Google for longtailed keyword sets - and I know I've made many sales as a result. Youtube is awesome - in my opinion.
I have tried youtube on a couple of occassions, but I have found that the real issue is researching the right keywords and looking for a niche that fits what is already hot. I used the iPhone stuff and got some bounce not sure if anyone agrees with that, but I think using what is hot is best if you have something that those people are looking for.
Does anyone know anyone who can get my video all over the place and lots of views...especially Youtube?
