We have invested in a high quality video to market our services to a particular demographic. The video has alot of humor in it and is also informational at the same time. We are experienced with SEO, articles, emails, list building, etc. however, this is our first video. Any ideas on how to initially get this video "out there"? Should we youtube it, write a press release about it, Digg it????? We already plan on sending an email out to our in-house list linking directly to the video. Any other thoughts?
All three - youtube, press release and digg. You should also blog about it where possible, and you might even want to post about it here.
Not sure how a press release would be beneficial in your case. Stick with youtube, digg and social networking sites.
Go right ahead and send it off to "techie news" type blogs. It definitely can't hurt, and it only takes one big blog to get your product noticed in one fell swoop.
An exceptional way to do marketing online while maximizing your budget is engaging in cross promotional advertising. When looking for those products to cross promote with you will want to look for those that will compliment your product, for example if you sell printers you will want to cross promote with a company that sells printer ink, paper, etc. And this is because you will not be competing against another company you will be enhancing both of your products at no cost for advertising. This will provide convenience for your customer because they will have all they need on your website. Also this company (csgserver.com) offers a really great marketing tool for online marketing called Traffic Blazer, I use it and it works really well for my company ______________________ Bre D. www.csgserver.com
advice noted - thanks guys I'll start with digg, youtube, and email campaigns to the targeted demographic.
