I've put together some tutorial videos for my business and need a nice, flashy introduction clip for each video. This is the 10 second or so graphic at the beginning of a video where you can show off your business name and the video title. I found a good example here: http://becomeablogger.com/video-1.html The first 10 seconds of that video is what I'm talking about. How do you go about making one of those or finding someone to hire? Am I looking for a video editor? Flash programmer? Do I find someone on DP? Elance? Craigslist? Thanks!
That can be done with After Effects, or any other decent video editor. It's pretty easy to do yourself.
Thanks for the response, I'll look into After Effects. But what about finding someone to make it for me? I don't want to buy expensive software or learn a new program, just want it outsourced. And do those clips have a certain name, so I can explain it better to others?
I call them idents or station IDs < which is what they're called on TV. No idea what they're called for websites though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Station_identification

@ TheoHuxtable You should have a look around for some After Effect templates - I bet there's some out there for creating 'station IDs' (or whatever we're calling them) http://www.planetaep.com/ http://www.aeprojects.com/ Your nick just clicked too. ************ I guess Google's broken again? http://www.adobe.com/products/aftereffects/
