Hey guys, Last week Yahoo Finance had a story on the front page about "Young Internet Millionaires". One of the entrepreneurs featured was Matt Mickiewicz - founder of SitePoint.com, Flippa.com and 99designs.com. I just did a video interview with Matt to discover how he has started and grown not just 1 but 3 successful online businesses. We go over how to get business ideas, how to drive traffic, how to provide value, how to grow your business by selling info products and more. www.StartupFreedom.com/matt-mickiewicz-interview/ It was great to learn the secrets of someone mentioned in the same breath as Michael Dell (Dell Computers) and Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook). What do you think about Matt's advice? (here's the link to that Yahoo finance article: http://finance.yahoo.com/career-work/article/111047/how-to-be-a-millionaire-by-age-25?mod=career-worklife_balance)
it's good advice, the only thing is that when he was starting out the competition was much less intense
The same can be said about anyone that is successful now... 99designs and Flippa are both newer sites and they're killing it!
I've never thought of site point to be successful. I've been visiting webmaster sites for 15 years, extremely rarely would I go to site point cause their knowledge was too far behind and resources lacked any depth.
Amazing interview. Thank you so much for posting this great interview with Matt. He seems like a very nice and knowledge person and I'm sure you enjoy the time you got to talk to him!!!
Hey Daedorax, thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Matt was awesome to speak with. What did you take away from the interview?
Listen - DIgitalpoint does better than sitepoint and is successful . But sitepoint has over 400,000 members and 200,000 uniques a month. How can you say thats not successful? For the record Digitalpoint gets approx. over 400,000 uniques per month.
