Here’s a quick guide on how to detect photoshopped image in windows xp. Wathch video here http://v67.info/?p=36
That’s cool I never knew that. The Photoshop label still sticks even after you open edit it and save it in Microsoft paint. But open it crop it in Fireworks and the program details is blank.
And how about if you screenshot, then save (compress) it in photoshop.....then people will yell 'photoshopped'!
That's a bad way to detect if an image has been modified since most people that use Photoshop heavily will use it to Compress the file (e.g., save for web). The meta-data will still indicate Photoshop, even though no changes were made; the image was only resized and/or compressed. A good way to detect editing is to use the Curves menu and bring color saturation way up and look for improperly blended edges. There's a ton of other ways to check if an image was modified, but that's unfortunately not a very accurate method.
This is interesting, but I've always hoped that Photoshop is used for creative purposes rather than for deceiving people.
Interesting.. I use Photoshop for all my images but I usually don’t run around do deceptions. Hey I got a new Lamborghini.lol
