Hi...this is eric from NoviceSEO.com and LogoDesign77.com. Last week I took part in an interview with WebProNews titled "How To Create A Higher Page Ranking" along with John Chow and Aaron Wall. ( I felt really humbled to be included in any video with these two guys.)

I decided to go a little more in depth and have just finished my first video blog entry at NoviceSEO that goes into a little more in depth on the tools and techniques that I have learned to help my website move up the search engines.

Since I am new here I cant put a link.... Just go to NoviceSEO.com and find the video entry........ this is my first so it's the only one there.

I would like to hear your thoughts, comments and suggestions. If you find the video informative please pass it on.......thanks.......eric

I don't think this is the correct section for this thread, the thread doesn't say anything about, how you got from 600 to 14 in 100 days. It just provides a link to your website, could you explain the matter in hand a bit more in depth and I may follow your link. Sorry but seems a little spammy to me.

John Chow's site (johnchow.com) doesn't even rank in Google for the term "John Chow" and he promotes Agloco which is one of the biggest pieces of spyware and scumware on the internet. LOL, my blog article on him ranks first page for the term "John Chow". Master SEO, no. Black hat SEO, yes. Follow John chow's advice and you'll end up in google's trash can like the rest of the Black Hat SEO's

Hi..sorry didnt mean for it to sound spammy. I basically did a video that recaps all the entries I have in my blog since I started this SEO project. It tells the tools and techniques I learned from different bloggers and what I did. I basically rounded it down to 10 tips....... Most of these may seem basic to advanced SEO people, but to a beginner like me, Novice, it was a revelation. I just wanted to share what I learned........ I certainly dont mean to sound as if I am spamming.

Here is a recap of the ten items I go over.....

    1. Submitted site to Yahoo, V7n, UncoverTheNet, SiteSift, BestofTheWeb and iServe directories
    2. Started a blog to support the website with fresh content at least 3 times a week.
    3. Added fresh textual content to the website in the form of product reviews at least once a week.
    4. Made each page title unique to the the information on that particular page.
    5. Deleted extra words from the title, description and keyword fields that were not relevant to the page.
    6. Added alt tags to all images and graphics.
    7. Added links to the main pages of the site at the bottom of each page using phrases rather than words
8 . Limited link exchange requests to very specific industry related websites
    9. Sumbitted a press release highlighting one of the free features of TruckerHub.com
    10.Became a student of patience

Hope this helps clear up any questions......thanks.........eric aka NoviceSEO

I have learned you have to sift the wheat from the chaff. Of course there are things that are not so good. But there is also good advice. I tried the Agloco route for about 3 days then shut if off......so ....... Have to pick out the good..... thanks for your input.

Looked at your site and it looks pretty good...However what is your main phrase? Truck driver jobs or truck driving jobs...

The reason I am asking in your title tag you have truck driver jobs...but then at the bottom of your page you have truck driving jobs in a link...If you changed them and made both of them match that would typically help you with your rankings..Also read this thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=490427 for some helpful tips as well.

This is an excellent list by logodesign77. I would suggest you write an ebook with details and sell through clickbank. The lesson is: little money, lots of efforts, and some persistency. Congratulations

Hi .. thanks for your input and suggestions.

James Dean Nash - Both phrases are high value.... I hate to choose between the two but the more i think about it the more i might just have to do that. 500 visitors from one phrase would be better than 250 from 2....

Onera - thanks for your words of encouragement. That may be something I consider in the future... I would like to get at least one more good ranking site under my belt before I start to offer advice to others.....Have success with 2 sites but three would add to credibility factor.
