What challenges are there with running this site?
None. Website is 3 years old and all traffic comes from Google. The website is done. You might want to be familiar with the game if you are posting news stories though. Website has large traffic but low CTR rate I think because of ad blocks. Average monthly is $150. Can be up to $500 during large patches or big months for the game. But this is rare. $150 is the expected. But I am sure someone better with adsense placements could impove that.

 

Which keywords are bringing in the most traffic?

I am a little concerned with Diablo being in the domain name - why would you put a trademarked name in your domain?

 

Diablo Items / Diablo Legendary Items and related searches like that. The item database gets the most traffic, so it's individual google searches for any item in the game. Like "Royal Ring of Grandeur" "Thunderfury" basically every item.

Should also note - willing to work on the website and add new features free of charge. I still like the game, just need the cash. But yeah completely willing to add new sections to the website for you. 100% free labour.

Also the name is in the URL because the website is about that game. It's literally an item database/guides/news for the game. I don't see any reason the name would be a problem. Blizzard (company that makes the game) is in good standing with the website. They send me invites to Blizzcon (annual convention) and answer emails that I send directly to their PR department. In the past they even email me before they post a big news story to give me a heads up.

 

How much revenue does the site make ? And could you add a screenshot of keywords used from webmaster tools

All the content the website needs is already there. It has all the important information about the game already. Which gets a large amount of google traffic as you can see from the stats. You can literally do nothing ever with the website and keep making the passive income. However as I like the game, I would love to work for free and do any updates or new content it ever needs if the game gets a patch or whatever.
