Video Game Design

Hey,

I have just finished grade 12 and i think i am going to go into video game design (i am currently employed doing graphic design), what type of univeristy/collage courses does a person need for somthing like this. Also does any one know the pay for video game design? Also what is the current demand for video game designers?

Back in the day a remember a place called Digipen in Vancouver I think. That's pretty much all I got if you're in Canada, don't know if location is a problem or not.

 

it depends what field you would like to join... there are many position some of the main ones are 2d and 3d Illustrators, designers, programmers,etc
maybe trying with sites related to game developers would help.

 

What part of Canada do you live in? I knew a few good schools but they are all in the US.

I live in BC, i would like to do the graphics, or somthing to do with the design of the game itself.

 

I suggest learning how to spell "college" first.

Secondly, do some research on college boards. Web forums are not exactly the best place to search for reliable college information. Just honest help!
