Video Format Differences???

    I am wanting to know some of the main differences with MPG-1, MPG-2 and an MP4 video format. Any help would be great!

    It kind of depends on what your using the video for as to which format you may want to go with. MPEG-1 is a basic compression that is typically good for PC use. MPEG-2 has more compression and better quality and is pretty much the standard DVD format right now. MPEG-4 is a higher compression but with little or no quality loss and more like high definition. I'm no pro on the topic, but this is my understanding.
