I used to have this great software that came included with my Windows PC. I believe it was not a free software (but came bundled). It consisted of 2 programmes, a video editor and a DVD player. Then a friend wiped it from my PC and it is lost. And I cannot remember what it was called :-( The great thing about this software is that it could read almost any file. e.g. I would often import home made dvd files of rare video footage and it would read them like a charm. Now the other softwares that I have used cannot read these kind of files - saying they are not compatible formats. Can anyone point me to the software I am remembering, or to another software that can read all sorts of difficult files (to edit them)?
