HI i am editing a video with Windows Movie Maker but i need a software to add logo on the video throughout its lenght. please suggest some software or if anyone can do it pm me!
I also recommend Sony Vegas (I use After Effects too, but the learning curve is really steep so you should practice with it before using it for projects. Also, AE is horrible for full on video editing-- it renders everything in real time so every time you make a change and preview it, you have to wait on it to render first, which takes forever with big projects. I use AE for post-production). Windows Movie Maker is just horrible, even in comparison to other free/limited programs. Also, by logo do you mean watermark? I think WMM has an overlay function but it's been so long since I last used it...so if you have to go with WMM, you can try that. Just make another video section in your timeline on top of your video and slap the logo on it.
I like after effects and if you just need a logo you can download the trial and then go to video copilot, watch a free tutorial and they have many free downloadable presets, they also charge for some but they have a huge list of free ones.
You can use one of the following software expect Windows Movie Maker: AVS Video Editor (for windows) http://www.flash-video-soft.com/avs-video-editor
I like After Effects or Cinema4D, because you can find lots of templates on the net (free or really cheap) to customize. And both are very complete programs.
As I know, some video converter software can also add image logo to video. Check this and hope it helps you.
Great thread... I didn't knew about after effects before... I just checked it, its really cool... I will be using it for sure.
