I am looking for some software that can easily clip out commercials from TV shows that I pull off of my TiVo. So when I put them on DVD they will just be nothing but the show. I want it to be very user-friendly and simple to use! Any suggestions?
I would recommend Adobe Premiere 6.5 or + version. i myself use this one and i feel this is the best and user friendly software for video editing. But b4 u move ahead with your video editing i would like u to refer to some of the tutorials of Adobe Premiere tutorialized.com/tutorials/Premiere/Basics/1 I hope this guidance will help you to some extent and for more help you can PM me and i'll definately put best of my efforts to guide u to the extreme.
if u need video converter then u can use total video converter (tvc) if u need video editing software then u can use adobe primire it is easy to use.....
Unless things have changed recently....Adobe premiere is mighty expensive for someone just wanting to do a few "cuts". There is a lot cheaper software out there that can do just that. The "no frills" stuff. I'd look for the bargain basement video software if that is all you want to do. I have not used the cheap ones like Roxio or ULead's low-end video software (I use ULead's higher-end video software), but the lower end ones almost always have a downloadable trial. Just pay close attention to the input and output formats that the software supports. Also, all codecs and compressors are not created equally! Best to try before you buy. The time you spend testing it out first may save you a bundle of money (without having to switch your insurance company to GEICO!). Just my two cents...hope it is of value to you...
If you want to go advanced somewhere in the future I would recommend Sony Vegas(pro version). Been using it for few years, works flawlesly
