    Does anyone know of or recomend a program that I can use to edit videos I take so that I can add credits, titles or a web address into the video for marketing purposes?

    The video would be for an animal/pet niche, basically I would like to insert the web address at the end of the video.

    Windows Movie Maker is the free choice; if you have money to spend and want to do more advanced editing then look into Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere

    If you have a harddisk camera that creates .MOD files, then I suggest using cyberlink powerdirector. It's $90 and is has nice features. It is a little buggy tho. You can try it for 30days if you visit their website.

    Thanks for the advice guys. I'm going to try Windows Movie Maker to start with, because at the moment I'm not earning enough to make another investment.

    Simple answer is:
    Free = VirtualDub
    Pay = After Effects
    Output in H.264 at 1280x720.

    "Best" is subjective.

    Kerosene, why would he need After Effects for editing such as frame by frame and watermarking? After Effects will do it fine, but it's more complicated to learn than say Adobe Premiere or Final Cut. Camtasia's editing software will also allow you to do this as well..

    Windows Movie Maker is one of the best video editing software’s for YouTube videos. You click on Start Menu -> All Programs -> Windows Movie Maker. It should be easy to edit stuff. Furthermore, AVS is also a good one which has plenty of great functions for this purpose.

    the best PAID solution will be a combination of After Effects and Sony Vegas IMO
    (Sony Vegas for mainly cutting and editing and After Effects for compositing, effects, etc)

    Both Sony Vegas and Camptasia have 30 day trials if you're going to be making money from the video you make. Both are super easy to add a credits page or a bottom 3rd for including web url's

    You can use Flixpress.com to create intros and titles. You can edit in any video editing software.
