Video Compression software.

    Hello guys,

    I would like to know how to compress an asf file which is at 1.5 mbps to a 400 kbps quality? any ideas?

    I tried google but didn't find anything good.

    help appriciated.

    Windows Movie Maker, or whatever it's called.

    It's basic, but if you're running XP, you've already got it.

    I'm 99% sure that it can handle ASFs. As far as I can remember ASF is a Microsoft proprietary thing that most other software can't deal with.

    EDIT - I just checked it myself and yes it does import asf files with no probs
