Hi i have a few music videos which i want to put onto my site. However they are all around 30mb in size, is this usual? Well anyway i want to do two things. 1 - Add my logo on 2 - Compress the file size I assume it is best done in this order. At the moment i can add a logo onto my videos, via VirtuaDub however when saving the video from this the quality is pretty poor? Also can anybody help me so the video will play progessivly (like play as it loads but not stop if you understand.)
Use winavi converter, convert it to avi and it will be reduced in size. If you want to add logo either you have to do manually or if you want to make it at runtime try ffmpg. Thanks
i know a program that can do it!!! all in one! it adds logos and watermarks and can convert one video format to another in order to compress file. so, i think it's a best variant for you. look up VidLogo at geovid.com.
Many thanks for your suggestions, I now have better knowledge and find that compression via Windows Movie Makeris great. VirtuaDub can compress files greatly also if they are not already compressed via the XVid codec. You can also easily add logos to videos via VirtuaDub. After doing this i then compress the file to an flv format resulting in a mass file reduction. I got a 40mb file down to around about 10mb.
