Hi guys, Point : I'm looking into video blogging. It's hard to learn since there's not a lot of information out there about it. I'll do the research for software etc elsewhere but for the bog-standard sit-in-a-bedroom-and-record-self-talking entries, what sort of webcam would you guys recommend? Minimum spec. I want a decent quality. Links would be welcome to UK sites.
I would skip the "webcam" altogether and just get a standard video camera from your local electronics store. Make sure you get one with firewire out so you can digitally transfer the data to your PC.
