Video ads - should I bother?

The company I work for has a few TV commercials. Should I bother going through the process of creating Adwords video ads for them? How effective are they at converting?

I'm still not exactly sure where they appear. I haven't used AOL in years, and I don't really see video ads on Ask.com.

Google TV is fairly new... Im not sure anyone has enough experience with it to give out concrete recommendations and reviews

I think it would be much link banner ads. A lot of people are blind to banners now because they're so used to seeing them. Adwords works because it fooled people into thinking they were clicking on links, not ads. A video would look much like a banner and probably not be clicked on as much.

    I think it's a step backwards.
