    Can someone tell me who in the hell buys Viagra or other crap from email spammers? Someone *must*, otherwise they wouldn't do it. I actually counted, and today I received over 100 emails offering Viagra or some other sort of prescription. Lame...

    They need to hurry up with the next generation of SMTP servers so spam goes away.

    Tell me about spam...At least I know (100+ times a day), where I can get my penis enlarged, if I ever did decide to grow one. Then maybe I would use some of that Viagra spam...

    I was reading the paper today and spam has gotten even worse after they passed the Anti-Spam bill. Good times.

    Well laws are not going to make it any better. Not until we get a new SMTP protocol that can actually authenticate who the sender really is. Then people will not be able to send emails from addresses they don't own.

    Will there ever be a new SMTP protocol?

    I'm still getting tons of spam for viagra and other stuff. I delete 80-100/day at work alone.

    Ever since I've started forwarding all mf my email accounts to my gmail account, I have been good. Very little spam.

    I turned on spam assassin for the first time yesterday and today is the first day I am viagra/office xp/mortgage rate free. It was almost disturbing not to get them.

    Yeah they are going to be installing spam asassin here at work this weekend. Should be interesting since I usually have 100-200+ pieces of spam on monday's.

    Who would swallow a pill they'd bought from some strange place on the internet anyway? Much better with that nice man down the club who sells the stuff. He's really trustworthy looking.

    but i think the harder part now for email to filter junk mail is that most of those junk mails are composed of only an image .. no text at all ...
