VHCS or CPanel

CPanel and WHM are $25 a month extra for my dedi, so I told them I would try VHCS from http://vhcs.net/new/modules/phpwiki/index.php/Installation (en)

But now, I don't think it's so easy - considering that its my first time using SSH....anyone that can give me tips or help with this, I have Fedora Core 6.

 

I'd have gone for debian etch OS and used the installer script available at VHCS.net

Another good free option is ispconfig...while DirectAdmin is a cheap but effective control panel.

How far did you progress? Which provider? How much does your provider charge for OS reload?

Fedora is better for desktops...not for production servers you see...

 

i haven't done anything yet to the server, provider is http://cmodz-hosting.com/, not sure how much an OS reload....
