Hello, I am new to the DP forums. I have been a full time employed SEO for the past 10 years, focused on ecommerce and adult industries. I have written over 100 articles about internet marketing both online and in print and have spoken at seminars for webmasters. The past few years my focus has been off teaching and simply applying what I know to who I am working for. I look foward to jumping into the forum and having some knowledgable debates and maybe even learning a thing or two.
If you have that much SEO experience I don't think you will be learning much here, 90% of people here think they are SEO experts when most of the things they say are laughable.
well welcome to the community since your an expert on SEO. well you can share some ideas and answer some questions about this stuff.
Thanks for the warm welcome. I know with SEO "everyones an expert" so I rarely argue about it. I just do what I know works and it's really much more simple that people make it out to be. I started out working for an company that did a little of everything (processing, hosting, some adult sites) and ended up learning off the seat of my pants when my 'higher ups' all quit after getting 1000 domains banned for spoofing in 1998. I rebuilt it all from the ground up using organic techniques and through trial and error found a solid way to build marketing campaigns that work for years on end. I did run my own company for awhile but I prefer working with a team.
