    Hi all,

I am hosting at network-solutions, a new website.

    When you try to access:
    http://www.key-king.co.il/joomla/index.php

few people are able to access and some are not . How can it be ? what can cause it ?

I believe it's the right forum to raise that issue, if not , please let me know for future submissions.

    Thanks
    Guy.

And it's not a dns update issue. I did the DNS update more than a month ago.

Do a tracert from the system in which you are not able to access your web site. For tracert open command prompt (Start -> run -> command) and type following command:

    tracert yourdomain.com

And check you are able to reach to the server.

Those who can access and cannot, are they in same time zone or close areas or different location?

    Where are your servers at?

I am saying this because sometimes the load time is very long (giving cant access impressions), the server location and the user accessing it's location are very far.

Network solutions - United states. we are from Israel.

I think it's maybe 1 ISP that makes the problem.

Has anyone seen something like that before?

I've experienced it before locally in US, and it happens that the management team at the server host block a group of their "suspected ips" and in your case it could be "suspected cities" or something.

Contact Network solutions and ask to see if theyir server or server your site's on has blocked "cant access user locations"

from asia ( PH P the site loads pretty fast

    yes i had similar/same before
because of iptables - i got excluded myself

if you or your ISP or a higher level blocks IP ranges of your ISP then you may have no access to your own site.

try different ISP - go to internet cafe or use any mobile device to access ur site. if different ISP in ur local area have access except your own ISP, then you may want to contact them ans ask if they could free the iptables

iptables usually are used to block entire hacker networks or ISPs tolerating hackers. hence thousands or more surfers may as a result be blocked from accessing certain sites .
it may also be your host who did so - even by automated scripts. during xmas days there is a highly increased activities of hackers.
