Very urgent, how we can increase traffic using facebook?

Hi to all,
My question to you that how we can increase traffic through facebook. I have account in facebook but don't know use it. If i have lot of friend in it then it will be beneficial but how?

Can i get 100 visitors per day using facebook??

 

If you have a businesss profile and get lots of people to sign up as a "Fan of <insert business name>" then updating your profile status throughout the day w/ interesting tidbits w/ links back to relevant pages on your site can bring you a little traffic. However, I'm not sure you could expect 100 visitors per day unless you have thousands of fans.

The simplest thing is that you can setup a fan page for your company or business, as mentioned above then you can start some form of social marketing, the advantage that you gain with this is that you'll wind up generating traffic however, as mentioned above, unless you have thousands upon thousands of fans this will NOT work out.

 

You must have some good nich content at the first place! Then ("How many friends you have now?") you must get some friend that they will trust you and like to read your posts. Then you just posts every time you have some good new thing to tell...

But remember if you not have good nich or relevant new content "friends" will lose confedential in you!

 

ok here is an example

I own a hairdressing salon and i wanted to use social media to my advantage. I created a group in facebook, invited all the employees of the salon to be members of the group. I then added photos, price lists, opening hours, addresses and web details. Okay then I created a card called "follow us on facebook" gave it to all our clients and then accepted all there requests to join the group. Okay 300 requests later i was able to add special offer to the group which then pulsed to everyone.

Hope this gives you some insite on how social media can be used.

Create your page with your business name or service name. Give detail of your service and link of your site to that page. Try to get more fan and friends by sending request.
Join some interesting and your service related groups to get more visitors.

 

well someone can help me how to create that fan page??
And is this fan page different from the business page?? and how come the traffic would come to my page as to post a cost at facebook seems expensive??
And why am i not able to create a business page as it always give me the same error of using name of the business and signature as same??
do anyone have faced that error and anyone knows how to rid of it ?? and how to basically promote that page which we created apart from promoting it into my own friends

 

I have a fan page with over 380,000 fans. I send each fan a message with a link. A hell of a lot of them click the link to find out more info about the message I sent them. This is the way it works.

I suggest create a fan page and add more friends. You can also place a link in your shout out box as well as in your profile.

Also, start using Twitter

 

if you want to get traffic via facebook then i suggest creating a 'fan page' or 'group' related to your website or buisness and ask your sites visitors to fan you on facebook or join your group, you can also ask your friends and contact or just invite them.

Then you can broadcast your messages to them via fanpages or group mails, that way you gain traffic and reputation aswel

 

Don't wind up spamming though, facebook's getting harder on the No-spam thing

 

I'm surprised that no one has talked about the use of video in facebook yet. I agree with everyone about the fan page idea. Also I'd suggest that you make a quick video outlining how much poeple's lives will improve with your product/service and then post that on YouTube. Once it's on YouTube you can link to it on your facebook page AND your fanpage.

In the video have a call-to-action to visit your URL for more info.

Also you can give away a free report on your fan page and embed your AWeber opt-in list code so people can join your mailing list right from FaceBook.

2. Participating in relevant groups.
3. Private message
4. Chat
5. fun pages
5. Notes
6. Updating status always
7. Videos
8. posting links
9. Sharing interesting articles
10. Connecting facebook to orkut, twitter, blogs and other sites.

 

You need to set up a fan page and get likes and using views on your fan page to promote things their, but you can't get 100/day without a large number of friends/fan base, but best of luck!
