Very Urgent curl 64bit 7.18 Centos

    Please help
    Trying to install cclive ( for import from varios video sites).
    However this needs 7.18 curl version
    Version in my server is 7.15 and os is Centos 64bit

    Please help urgently to install so I can continue with development
    using Putty

    should be as simple as 'yum install curl' at the ssh console. same for 64bit i think.

    It says installed 7.15.5 already.
    But I need 7.18 or above for which there is no 64bit build on cent or releh5

    Now what.

    Well building is one option but i dont know how to that any help to build and deploy same , step by step would help.

    but it's explained in that post, step-by-step. you just type those commands into your ssh console. that's all there is to building, really. just try it and see if you get any errors. if you do, come back and let me know.

    it should be the same. tbh i'm not sure, i'd be in the same situation as you in this case. you should at least try it out, unless someone who has actually done it before bothers to reply.

    I don't see centos there so maybe try one of the Redhat ones, there's some x64 versions there. Try wgetting Redhat RHEL4 x86_64, I assume you have Centos 4. Even if it's v5 you have, try it anyway based on that guide I posted earler, see what happens.
